Yay!!! What a day! What a thrill to be there. It was fabulous, beyond exciting, and transformational. It was also exhausting. I'm afraid I'll have to wait until tomorrow to tell you all about it.
Until then, sleep well, knowing that our man is in the White House. Hooray!
mmm

Hello Mary. Well done and thank you. "Well done" because as much as it takes disciplne to maintain a blog as insightful as yours, it also, clearly, takes passion. It's impressive and inspirational how you're able to share yours.
And "thank you" for following through with your prescient vision to attend the inauguration. Here in Shanghai, your niece and I felt very far away, indeed, as we tried to watch the events, first in a crowded bar of expats, and secondly at home via a choppy Internet stream. Reading about your journey was able to bring me closer to the...well...magic of the experience. I look forward to getting vicariously transplanted into the masses in your next post.
No pressure of course.
Much love,
Julian
Way to go mmm, I followed some of your antics at the Inag. via EJA. . . and I was sorry to see him whimp out....
